Free browser media tools — your files never leave your device

Privacy

The short version: your files never leave your device. Every MediaStand tool runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. Files you choose are opened in your browser's memory, processed there, and the result is saved straight back to your device. Nothing is uploaded, and we could not look at your files even if we wanted to — there is no server side to send them to.

What we measure

We collect a small set of cookieless, identifier-free usage counters so we can tell which tools are used and whether they succeed: the event type (page view, operation success or failure), the tool name, a coarse device class (mobile or desktop), the country your request was served from, a rounded file-size band in megabytes, and processing duration. That is the whole list.

We do not collect file names, file contents, or file metadata. We set no analytics cookies and store no identifiers about you. The only thing saved in your browser is your light/dark theme preference, if you toggle it.

Infrastructure

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard connection logs (such as IP address and user agent) briefly for security and abuse prevention — see the Cloudflare privacy policy.

Advertising

There are currently no ads and no third-party trackers on MediaStand. If we introduce advertising later, this page will be updated first, and where consent is legally required it will be asked before anything loads.
