Is my video uploaded while rotating?
No. The rotation runs inside your browser using FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly. Your file never leaves your device.
Why re-encode instead of just flagging the rotation?
A metadata rotation flag is ignored by many players, editors and TVs — the video still shows sideways. Baking the rotation into the pixels works everywhere, so that is what this tool does.
Does rotating lose quality?
The picture is re-encoded once with a bitrate matched to your source, so quality stays visually close to the original. The audio is copied bit-for-bit with no loss at all.
What is the difference between rotate and flip?
Rotate turns the whole frame (90 or 180 degrees) — use it for sideways or upside-down videos. Flip mirrors the image horizontally or vertically — use it for mirrored selfie-camera or teleprompter footage.
Is there a size limit?
